The actress had never attempted out for roles before. She auditioned to be a character for the movie Home and Away (1998). They felt that Tasha was not suited to the part, but they were so impressed that they decided to come up with a different part for Tasha. After three years, she played her first role on TV and received with a Logie Award. Isabel was transferred from London to Los Angeles in 2008. In 2009, Isabel's breakthrough part was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. In the years since, she's appeared in several US as well as Australian productions, and received various accolades. Isabel is currently starring of Bosh & Rockit a film which is quickly becoming a Australian iconic. Isabel also starred in the upcoming film Lunacy. Isabel recently wrapped Sons of Summer. She is also in the preproduction stage of her performance as Marie Curie with award winning writer/director Annika Glas.
